What Happened At Wicked

We were in the movie theater, watching Wicked, to celebrate my mom’s 86th birthday. Just as the wicked witch rises up on her broom for the first time and belts out “Defying Gravity,” my mom’s wheeled walker takes off and flies twenty rows down the aisle. All this to say, Wicked is a magical film.

What Happened Last Week

I was interviewed on the podcast Think Fast, Talk Smart, which is all about strategic communication. Matt Abrahams, the host, wanted to learn what things I think about when creating a cartoon that might translate into speaking well in public. He teased out a few! I also walk him through the process of making this Easter cartoon pictured below. For fun, Matt asked me to re-jigger the podcast’s logo for the special episode.
